Alka Kurian is a Lecturer in the Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Program at UW Bothell. She holds a Ph.D. in Film and Cultural Studies from the University of Sunderland in the UK. She received a M.A. and M. Phil. in French from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, India, and and M.A. in Film and Cultural Studies (audited only) from the University of Sunderland.
